Declaration

Newbury School of KI Aikido students are required to adhere to the following declaration:

1. I promise to uphold the true sprit of honour, discipline and respect relating to the core of all martial arts
2. Safety will always be my first priority, both for myself and my training partners
3. At all events I will show good sportsmanship
4. The wisdom I wish to attain commands a code of conduct to avoid disgracing martial arts, my club, my instructor and myself
5. Never to use the skills I am taught outside the dojo, unless to protect myself or my family
6. I promise to maintain discipline and uphold the above
